Project Surveyor - Asset and Investment

Badenoch Clark are currently working exclusively with one of the largest housing providers in the North West of England who are seeking a Permanent team member within their Assets and Investments function. The client have undergone a period of positive business change, with a new structure in place this role will play a pivotal part in the future of the organisation who have an aim to provide top quality housing to their tenants. With a focus on customer service as well as technical ability you will be required to work across disciplines to inspect the current stock held and develop a strategy to make significant improvements as required. Your role will involve but is not limited to: Carrying out detailed Stock Condition Surveys as required to support a team of Stock Condition Surveyors Developing repair, disrepair and planned works specifications Overseeing contractors during works Having an oversight of Energy Performance and Environmental sustainability and working to improve these with the team Asset Performance assessment and strategy development Improving cost effectiveness of all completed works and being mindful of business objectives Handling complaints and ensuring effective communication with tenants I would like to hear from you if you have: Experience within the Social Housing industry and specifically within the Asset and Investments function A desire to improve business performance and a strong work ethic Excellent interpersonal skills Minimum HND/HNC in Building related study RICs qualification/affiliation/membership desirable but not essential If you are looking for your next opportunity and this sounds like the role for you, get in touch with Mariella Cardy on or to hear more or apply with your up to date CV and I will get in contact.
