Overview
RF / Microwave Design - Testing Engineer Edinburgh OR Lincoln Negotiable rate of pay Both contract and permanent roles available Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with an Engineering Solutions Provider, who work within the Aerospace industry. They are currently seeking an RF / Microwave Design and/or testing to provide services to their major UK defence client. The RF/Microwave engineer will be working as part of the customer team designer, testing RF/Microwave equipment for multiple applications. They will support the customer requirements in design and development, along with support to manufacturing and verification. The successful candidate will ideally have a degree within Electrical Engineering and have a background within SOME of the following: Microwave PCB materials & design techniques; Microwave Sub-System Design; Knowledge of microwave power amplifier design & technology; Design of complex microwave switch matrix; Application of microwave GaAs/GaN MMIC; Design of complex passive microwave structures; EM 3D and 2D simulation techniques; Non-linear circuit simulation; Microwave component selection. It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills and is familiar with industry standard CAD tools.
