Software Test Engineer - Do Things Your Way A Software Test Engineer position has opened in a company with the feel of a startup but with the backing of a major parent organisation. You will get to make your mark on the way testing is done in the company - with no formal testing team, you will kickstart things and set the precedent for testing going forwards. You would be working in a small software team, testing a range of highly successful products. Initially the work would be testing a Windows desktop application that interfaces with firmware, controlling scientific instrumentation used within a number of different environments, including renewable energy. This is a highly varied role, which will develop your skills in a number of areas. The ideal Software Test Engineer will have experience testing within a Windows environment using C#.
