Overview
Our client is seeking Patient Transport Dispatchers on a temporary contract initially ongoing to start on Monday, 6th April for training. Hours of work 37.5 per week, based upon various shift patterns covering weekdays, weekends and bank holidays between the hours of 6am until 10.00pm. 10 hour shifts x 4 per week. The hourly pay rate will be from £9.09 up to £15.45 dependent upon the unsociable working hours. Full training will be given. Job role You will be responsible for on the day control of pre-planned non- emergency ambulances. You will manage incoming calls from patients, clinics, contact centre and any other relevant Health Care professionals and manage and deploy resources to pre-planned appointments at a range of clinics and hospitals. Skills and Experience Able to use Microsoft Windows and Office packages, good written and verbal communication skills and excellent listening skills and remain calm under pressure.
