Data Analyst

We are looking to recruit a number of Data Analysts of all experience levels, including those who are bilingual in Italian. You will be capable of delivering excellent customer service, have an analytical mind-set, be numerate and IT literate. Joining us on a full time, permanent basis you will be based in our office in Skelmersdale and in return will receive a competitive salary of £17,000 – £22,750 per annum dependent on experience. About our Data Analyst Assistant role: Each new Analyst undergoes a 2-and-a-half-week bespoke training course to understand our service and bespoke data analysis system. You will then join an Analysis team to embed and further develop their new skills, whilst delivering the service live to our customers The Fairbanks Data Analyst service assists fuel retailers, across the globe, in managing their forecourts and fuel. The key purpose of the Data Analyst role is to provide an expert data analysis and fuel management service to our customers. Whilst their fuel is in the hands of the experts, Fairbanks, this allows them to focus on other areas of their fuel retail business. Responsibilities as our Data Analyst Assistant: - Review, verify and correct data discrepancies or investigate ongoing discrepancies with and on behalf of the customer and liaise with contractors - Review and escalate data exceptions on a daily and weekly basis, following process and procedure which is in accordance to what has been agreed between Fairbanks and the customer contractually. - Provide a high standard of accuracy in management of data - Analyse trends and patterns in the data to identify discrepancies and irregularities that require further escalation - Manage all escalations for the customer to identify the root cause and find a solution to the discrepancy and irregularity - Comply with quality KPIs and customer SLAs - Provide reports via our internal bespoke system to assist the customer in managing their fuel stations - Provide excellent customer service at all times when dealing directly with customer queries and concerns - Be IT literate and able to work with customers to troubleshoot connection issues with our equipment at site - Be IT literate and skilled in using Microsoft Office, Windows Applications, website navigation with the ability to quickly learn how to use a bespoke internal software - Display professionalism in an office environment and undertake general ad-hoc customer requests via email or telephone What we’re ideally looking for in our Data Analyst Assistant: - Knowledge of fuel retail or fuel industry - Experienced in a similar role - Demonstrate good organisational, verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail in all areas - Be able to work weekend shifts - Have a passion for problem solving and the confidence to take responsibility for investigations Interested?
