Transport Planner

Transport Planner required by General Haulage company based in Suffolk A leading General Haulage company based in Suffolk are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join the team. You will be working in a fast paced and busy transport office so extensive general haulage experience is required for this role. General Haulage planning experience is essential. Manager CPC beneficial. The Package: £28,000 - £33,000 Monday - Friday Occasional Sat AM 28 days holiday Company Pension The Role: As Transport Planer you will be routing company owned vehicles UK wide You must ensure all routes are planned cost efficiently As Transport Planner you will be arranging sub contractors when required It is expected that you achieve minimum empty mileage through sourcing and routing back loads Full Vehicle and Driver compliance must be maintained at all times The Requirements: General Haulage experience essential Excellent route planning and back loading ability Commercially astute route planning Excellent UK wide geographical knowledge Full understanding of Driver & Vehicle compliance WR Transport & Logistics are the 1 recruitment partner for transport jobs and logistics jobs.
