Overview
Ignata Finance are recruiting for an enthusiastic, hard-working Credit Controller to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be a results driven team player, a determined individual able to meet tight deadlines, with previous experience of working in a busy office environment. Working as a part of a very motivated and energetic team of professional credit controllers. Your role is about strong relationship building, enthusiasm and ability to drive and exceed targets. You will be responsible for your own accounts ensuring timely and efficient collections. Using system-based reporting tools and Excel to manipulate and produce regular reports. You will be playing a vital role in the financial stability of this company. You will support the business division, working closely with your colleagues and external customers. Meeting and striving to exceed targets to maintain cash flow and minimise bad debt. Key responsibilities Reconcile sales ledgers to the general ledger at month end Correctly match customer receipts to invoice Reconcile receipts and cashbooks Reconcile statements with customers and resolve issues Ensure credit memos are duly processed once authorized Keep compliance, policies and procedures up to date Keep databases up to date Provide accurate and timely reports Desired characteristics Experience in an Accounts receivable role Attention to detail Adaptable to an ever-changing team and business Strong work ethic Good communication and organisation skills You will be a team player with a strong work ethic, can do attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
