Café Assistant Manager £23,000 - £26,000 We are looking for an experienced Café Assistant Manager to join a client of ours who owns a chain of high quality British casual dining cafes across the South East. Ideally, we are looking for someone who already has some supervisory experience within a hospitality and catering background, however if you come from a retail background, we would still love to hear from you. The position is based across two different sites, one in Chichester and one in Horsham, so being a commutable distance to both is essential. There is the potential to move onto General Manager for the right candidate who has a desire to succeed in the industry. You will be able to benefit from a straight shift pattern which is 5 days on 2 days off over the week. The working hours are from between 8:00 am – 6:30 pm or 6am – 6:30pm depending on the location. You will also be able to receive a 30% staff discount on products available in the café. Key Duties: Opening and closing the café Overseeing staff and determining shift rota Helping any customers where possible Training staff on Health and Safety and risk assessments Tracking wastage, processing orders and controlling sales Requirements: 1 Years managerial experience Driving licence (preferred) If you would like to be considered for this position, please apply now and a member of the team will get back to you.
