Overview
Planning Manager I am looking to speak to production controllers who can come into a complex manufactured product environment and improve the On Time In Full performance of a business that sees improved planning as a key aspect of growing their business. The Planning Manager will manage the master production schedule and customer delivery expectations ensuring systems are compliant with the Quality Management System. The role will demand close and regular liaison with Customer contacts upstream, Manufacturing Group Leaders & Quality Manager and material/sub contract suppliers downstream. The Planning Manager is expected to be the customer point of contact and to lead by example, developing a professional team and effective supply chain to deliver a consistent customer service and exemplary communication stream. To be the successful candidate you will be an experienced planner within a manufacturing environment, ideally (but not essential) the aerospace industry and/or Milling machining, Turning and Grinding / Ancillary operations. You will be able to demonstrate prior line management experience and be a confident communicator with customers.
