Overview
Small but ambitious digital agency (they've beaten some of the big guns to some prestigious awards) are seeking a Web Developer to join them in Edinburgh. They build bespoke web and mobile apps for their clients; this isn't re-skinning the same old site until you're blue in the face. It is complex and interesting technical work as part of a motivated team. Their office in Edinburgh city centre is bright and modern with all the usual mod cons (coffee, tea and soft drinks, break out areas). On top of competitive salaries (up to circa £55,000) they offer a good package of benefits; good holidays, pension, private medical, budget for professional development/training. You'll join a close-knit team of 12. They have five in the Development team and many of the techies have been with the company for several years - surely a testament to the interesting and complex work they are involved with. They work with modern Microsoft technologies ( C#, ASP.NET MVC ) as well as JavaScript, HTML, CSS . If you have any CMS/Umbraco experience, this would stand you in really good stead, as would any experience with mobile development (especially with Xamarin) , Angular/other JavaScript frameworks . If you're savvy with Accessibility and SEO best practices , this would also be a bonus.
