Overview

We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people that have sustained a brain injury. We are looking for an additional Support Workers in the Chesham area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you. We have day shifts available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm. The rate of pay starts at £11.00 per hour and we pay for your mileage . We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check amd 25 days of paid annual holiday. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate , as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. About the Client You will be working with a young man who lives in the area of Chesham. The support he requires is companionship as well as help with his daily activities. It will be part of your role to support him so he can access the community safely. He also likes playing video-games on the Xbox so having similar interests will be advantageous. The right candidate must be outgoing and sociable to make a difference in this man's life, to encourage his development and see him grow to her full potential of independence. Successful candidates must be able to drive to assist him with transport. About Team Brain Injury Based in Southampton, we have been working with people living with acquired brain injury since 2007.
