Project Engineer / Project Manager – Staffordshire – Permanent – Automation / Systems Integration - £40-45k bonus 8% pension contribution SME business – lots of exposure, responsibility and variety, supportive/forward thinking senior management team Samuel Frank Associates is now recruiting for a Project Engineer or Project Manager to join a Staffordshire based systems integrator. This role could suit a Project Engineer looking to take the next step or a Project Manager with a couple of years project management experience. The client is also open to considering an experienced Engineer whose had some experience of project management and wants to develop a career in project management. Keys aspects of the role include; Automation industry experience Management of the complete lifecycle of automation projects Experience of the complete project lifecycle including; tendering, design and test specifications, FAT, installation, commissioning and customer documentation Experience with systems which include some or all of: PLCs, variable speed drives (AC & DC), SCADA, HMIs, high level communications networks etc. Experience with machinery safety legislation and application (BS EN ISO13849) The ideal background for this opportunity is to have worked for a systems integrator , OEM or bespoke machine builder. The role of Project Engineer / Project Manager will involve some periods on sites in the UK during project installation and commissioning. The annual bonus will be dependent on company and individual performance. Overtime isn’t standard but for exceptional circumstances the senior management team has agreed to pay it. The client’s premises are easily commutable from most of Staffordshire and parts of Cheshire including places such as Stoke, Congleton, Crewe, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Leek, Middlewich and Nantwich.
