We currently have an opportunity available to join our Sodexo Healthcare team as a Waste Supervisor,at Wythenshawe Hospital.The focus of the role is to supervise the Waste Management team and provide a comprehensive range ofduties to all wards and departments within the hospital. Join our team today, and do your part in supporting the NHS during this difficult time Main Responsibilities Ensure staff are allocated duties and responsibilities appropriately and receive training to undertake their role Identify and facilitate training needs for staff including moving and handling training Ensure all Waste duties are carried out in strict accordance with the health and safety at work act Ensure all Waste staff adhere to trust policies and procedures To deal with the allocation of work to Waste staff To ensure all waste is collected in line with trust guidelines The Ideal Candidate Previous experience managing a team Computer skills. Good literacy and numeracy skills Knowledge of waste legislation, segregation and NHS processes Ability to work under pressure, in a physical environment and meet deadlines.
