Demand Planner

Do you have planning, purchasing and delivering of raw materials experience? If you do, then this could be the role for you. We are recruiting for a Demand Planner to work with our client in Tewkesbury on a full time, permanent basis. Your Responsibilities Maintaining inventory levels of purchased stock and raw materials Working with other teams to managing of onboarding process of new lines and defined exit strategies for discontinued products To build, maintain and own all purchase for resale stock Building inventory stock level reports at month end Identifying and highlighting stock and supplier risks Placing orders with approved suppliers To assist in reviewing current suppliers whilst identifying consolidation and cost saving opportunities Undertaking of project work Expedite purchase orders and maintain reporting for escalation of supplier non-conformance Clearing and authorising invoices Tracking vendor performance Lead planning and inputting of monthly stocktakes and assist in bi-yearly warehouse stocktakes Skills and Knowledge Experience within stock control or purchasing Forecasting and Overseas shipping experience is essential H igh PC skills, especially on Excel MRP Experience Proactive approach to problem solving Due to the high volume of applications we receive for our job adverts we are unable to respond to all candidates.
