We have an excellent position available for a Production Engineer in Stowmarket, Suffolk. The Company Our client is a superb family firm who have their own farms and specialise in supplying high quality poultry to farm shops, butchers, delicatessens and restaurants in over 15 countries. The Role As Production Engineer, you will be responsible for: Setting up the machines involved in the primary processing within the factory Assisting the Engineering Manager on the day to day maintenance of the factory Mechanical and electrical repairs as needed We are looking for a qualified or an experienced engineer that has worked in a factory environment before and a working knowledge of processing chickens would be an advantage. Hours & Rewards As Production Engineer, you will work Monday to Friday from either 6.30am or 8am until around 4pm or 5pm and there is a salary on offer of £26,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending upon experience.
