Overview
Contek are working with a modern CNC workshop company based in Rotherham. They are investing and expanding impressively, and require an additional CNC Miller / Turner to join the team. Your duties will include; Programming, setting and Operating CNC Milling machines using Fanuc controls. If and when required; Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls. Working to tight tolerances. Making a number of precision components from 1-Offs to 10-Offs. Liaising with CAD departments and planning for production. The Candidate: To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess the following; Experience Programming - Fanuc Able to write own programmes from scratch Able to read and work to technical drawings Strong experience as a Miller (essential) Experience as a Turner (ideal) Able to work unsupervised Your working times will be: 07:30 - 16:30 Mon - Thu / Finish at 12:00 on a Friday.
