STOCK CONTROL FLT OPERATIVE STOKE ON TRENT PERMANENT FULL TIME (SHIFTS 6AM-3PM, 1PM-10PM, 10PM-6AM ROTATING) £9.04 PER HOUR (£9.80 PER HOUR FOR NIGHT SHIFT) THE ROLE · Operating mobile and static plant equipment (including a Fork Lift Truck) to handle waste materials in a safe and efficient manner · Loading, transporting and offloading waste · Accepting deliveries · Storing and dispatching hazardous and non-hazardous waste · Stock control duties, using a computerised system · Listing of outgoing loads, preparing driver paperwork using inhouse computer software and general data entry duties Making telephone calls to other internal departments WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience of working in a safe pallet handling/ processing environment A good level of IT literacy as the role will involve using a computer to input data, send emails · A valid external Counterbalance FLT licence · Experience in operating static and mobile plant equipment would be preferred · Previous stock control experience Applicants should also be aware that this position involves outdoor working throughout the year.
