Overview

An intelligent, proactive administrator is required take on responsibility for the administrative backup for a fleet of over 500 vehicles. Join the team at the 2019 What Van? Rental Company of the Year Key Responsibilities This role will encompass all aspects of Fleet Administration, including: - Updating and maintenance of vehicle service histories and other computerised records. - Checking in and adding new vehicles to our systems. - Organisation of repair work and inspection: obtaining estimates and authorisation for repairs/services. - Liaising with suppliers to negotiate the best deal in terms of price and service on vehicle parts, maintenance and repair. - Ensuring that all vehicles are taxed as required and that they are road-legal. - Co-ordination of vehicle movements between locations, workshops, body shops, customer addresses and breakdown locations. - Proactively deal directly with insurance companies and customers when accidents are passed to Insurers. - Administration of the exit processes as vehicles leave the fleet. - Other vehicle administration as required. Person Specification The successful candidate will be: - Highly organised - Calm under pressure - Capable of prioritising effectively in a busy environment - A great communicator - Ideally educated to A-Level (with good grades at GCSE for both Maths and English) - Interested in all types of vehicles - Willing to learn more about the industry and to take on responsibility, when the opportunity arises - Flexible - Pro-active and able to use their initiative when needed - A great problem-solver We’re looking for intelligence, enthusiasm, and positive tenacity.
