Overview
Taylor Stevenson are acting on behalf of their UK wide client to recruit for an FLT Reach Driver based in the LS26 area. Our client are a large food manufacturer who manufacture and deliver food throughout the UK. You will be working within a warehouse in their freezer department which is -20 degrees however full freezer PPE will be provided. Every 40 minutes you will be out of the freezer for 20 minutes so you will not be expected to stay in the freezer for your full shift. Duties to include: 3-4 hours of your shift on the Reach Truck Loading and unloading Picking orders Quality checking Working in boxing which involves you putting products into prepared orders ready to go out for delivery Wrapping cages Manual lifting (up to 25kg) Using hand held scanner to locate packages Licences required: FLT Reach Truck Driving licence with own transport (due to the logistics of where the warehouse is located your own transport is required to enable you to get to work and home everyday or have access to transport as public transport isn't available near site). Experience required: Working in a warehouse environment At least 1 year experience of operating an FLT Reach Truck Operating hand held scanners in a warehouse environment Quality checking Working in a freezer environment would be essential but not required This is a 10 week temp-perm position for the successful candidate. The shift pattern is 2-10 Sunday-Friday with a day off during the week which may vary week to week. Rate of pay is £9.30ph which will increase once you have gone permanent subject to completing the 10 week period. Please send your CV through and we will call you back as soon as possible.
