Overview
Currently looking for experienced sample machinists to join one of the most beautiful Atelier's in London. It is an amazing opportunity to join a leading fashion brand. Responsibilities: Reading and understanding of patterns and fabrics Taking measurements Working with delicate fabrics such as silks, chiffon's, georgette's, organza and tulle Working closely with designers and pattern cutters to create finished products and maintain sampling standards Advise the pattern cutters of potential construction problems Cutting samples Making first samples with experience of high finishing techniques and skills The Ideal Candidate Confident with delicate fabrics Good team communication skill Able to work efficiently with tight deadlines Week end work may be required Previous sample machinist experience is essential gained from a similar luxury ready to wear environment TRIALS ARE UNPAID-booking is for 3 months- perm is an option
