An amazing opportunity has arrived for a Mixed Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Croydon, Surrey. It is a 4-Partner firm with a portfolio of clients including international firms, high net worth individuals and an interesting mixture of industries. Partners bring an impressive compilation of experience and knowledge, which has created a very stable and enjoyable working environment, offering flexible working hours and full CTA study support. As a Mixed Tax Senior, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients with turnovers of up to £10 million with stronger focus on personal rather than corporate clients. You will be a direct point of contact for them, overseeing both compliance and advisory. Leadership skills are going to be a valuable advantage, as you will be overseeing a team of juniors, review their work and pass on the feedback. Main areas of expertise as a Mixed Tax Senior: Managing a portfolio of 100 clients Tax Compliance: o Overseeing a team to make sure they will meet all deadlines o Making sure that the right amount of tax is paid on time in the most tax efficient way Tax Advisory: o Inheritance Tax advice o Non residence Landlords o Domicile and residency filings o International Tax advice o Capital Gain Tax Working with high net worth individuals with turnovers of up to £10 million Advising on Trusts and Estates Direct contact with the clients and visiting clients on their premises Personal Tax investigations Managing work of 4 juniors Benefits of the position as a Mixed Tax Senior: Flexible working hours (you can start or finish earlier) Full CTA study support o Materials o Exams o Time off to study 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays Private medical cover Requirements of the role: o Ideally ATT Qualified (CTA studier would be an advantage) o Minimum 3 years of experience in a tax role in the UK Mixed Tax Senior £43,000 - £50,000 per annum Croydon, Surrey
