Overview

2nd Line Support Engineer ACM Resourcing are currently working with an MSP (Managed Service Provider) who is seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide IT & Technology support to their clients in London. They have a diverse and varied client base so you will always have exposure to different technologies on a day to day basis. Main responsibilities as a 2nd Line Support Engineer; Troubleshooting desktops/laptops/networks, infrastructure, hardware and software issues. Working independently or as part of a team to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Handling escalated calls from other Stakeholders across the business. Keeping all documents up to date and accurate ensuring that Knowledge library is current. Liaise with 3rd party service providers. Essential skills required for this 2nd Line Support Engineer; Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7,8 and 10. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012. Good understanding of Mac OS. Experience working with Active Directory. Great ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly. Cisco Networking (Meraki) and firewall. Previously worked in a multi-site environment. Must have the ability to use, manage and understand ticketing solutions correctly. Azure - resource provisioning, networking, identity and access management with Azure AD, service provisioning Microsoft Certified Professional certification.
