Overview
One-to-One Care Assistants - Days, Nights and Weekends Required Huddersfield Precedo Healthcare Services are currently seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to deliver care on a one-to-one basis to service users in the community and also within care homes and day centres. We are care providers, working with people who have developed behaviours that require 1:1 support in order to maintain their safety and/or to engage and stimulate in order to de-escalate any challenging behaviours. We also work with complex needs clients and work closely with the social services to provide 1:1 support in the community. We are currently looking for part time and full time care assistants to work on a rota based system on a weekly basis. Your duties will differ per client but may include: delivering personal care, taking part in activities, assisting with meals, close monitoring and observations, completing and updating care plans and other documentation, liaising with the case manager at Precedo and/or family members, administering mediation (where required full training will be given by our clinical lead), de-escalation and diversion techniques. We are looking for males and females as the needs of the clients often stipulate certain requirements. Full time or part time hours available. Shortest shift we offer is 6 hours, leading up to 12 hours and you will be based in 1 place with 1 client for the entire shift.
