We’re TransUnion and we believe in Information for Good About the Role: The Global Insider Threat Program 'Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst’ is a cybersecurity professional with experience identifying threats, vulnerabilities and exploitations. The 'DLP Analyst’ applies security controls and utilizes tools and techniques to detect or gather information on domains or subjects. The 'DLP Analyst’ has a developed understanding of how Transmission Control / Internet Protocol networks (TCP/IP) function. Key Responsibilities: Review DLP alerts, including alerts escalated and emphasized by Tier 1 Analysts Perform analysis on alerts for triage/escalation according to defined Insider Threat/DLP Program procedures Identify user patterns and repeated actions that could potentially lead to data loss and communicate those to the team Assist with creation and maintenance of documentation on DLP processes as well as best practices/external facing documentation Assist with DLP policy/rule creation and maintenance to ensure the currency of the system Assist with Data at Rest scanning program Skills & Experience: Experience with DLP solutions (both Policy maintenance and infrastructure maintenance on DLP systems) Experience or familiarity with DLP solutions for network, endpoint, and data at rest Working knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems Ability to build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, self-motivation, personal drive and high energy are highly valuable for this position Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel What’s in it for you?
