Agile Delivery Lead Operate is PwC’s delivery arm, providing future-focused solutions to complex operational problems. Combining PwC’s traditional subject matter expertise with a unique operational excellence model and non-stop innovation, Operate enables PwC to move beyond traditional advisory and consultancy-based models. The Operate Technology team is dedicated to designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting innovative technology solutions for PwC Operate, its clients and stakeholders. About the role We are transforming the way we manage and deliver the demand in our fast growing technology team, to ensure we are using the best technologies across the network firm, and investing in new solutions that provide the highest value to our customers. We are looking for a driven individual who can coordinate a high volume of demand, providing a quick assessment on progression and assignment as part of an SME scrum. The individual should have a good awareness of how to manage scrums using Kanban tools, running stand ups and assigning or refer tasks to the right delivery teams. They should also be able to Guide the team on how to get the most of out self-organisation. Guide the team on self-organising to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. Assesses the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation. Remove impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving. Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example. Who we are looking for Essential Criteria Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a technology team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example Burndown technologies, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc). Experience is playing a Scrum Master and / or delivery role for at least one years for a technology team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team. The experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example various Burndown technologies, many Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
