We’re looking for an ambitious, NVQ or equivalent qualified Operator with experience in a manufacturing environment to join our team at our Flint Site. If you’re looking to grow your career within a fast paced, global manufacturing business who will invest in your learning and development then this is the role for you These roles are the entry roles for Operators within the site manufacturing team member structure. These roles carry out basic line operation - shadowing more advanced operators for future progression. The Flint Site has two manufacturing facilities. The Flint Mill is the European manufacturing center for Huggies® wet wipes and The Coleshill Mill is a Tissue Manufacturing Operation part of the KCP business. Identifying hazards in your area, and look to resolve with support. Carrying out basic operations within a production line - and understanding the impact of that process on other areas. Identifying quality issues within your own area and escalating where applicable. Carrying out defined work under instruction. You will be able to control hand tools with precision. You will be responsible for maintaining your work area to the defined standards. Experience Required: GCSEs in Maths and English - Essential Educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent within a manufacturing or production discipline - Essential Understanding of general manufacturing processes - Essential Experience within a manufacturing environment - preferably within FMCG Self-motivated and conscientious to detail in the work you carry out Be interested in self-development and willingness to invest your own personal time in further study.
