Overview
Infrastructure Team Lead, Birmingham based, competitive salary Your new company Working for an industry leading service provider with offices distributed throughout the UK. Within an Organisation offering advice, design and front line services to an array of Private and Public-sector clients; you will be immersed in a culture centred around maintaining excellent relationships with client, employees, shareholders and the community. Your new role Your role will be to provide the most senior level of technical leadership and subject matter expertise within the Infrastructure team. You shall mentor, guide and coach other team members to develop comprehensive and relevant skills within the team and will contribute to the development, optimisation and adherence to the operational processes, tool sets and procedures. As SME, you will advise and participate in Projects, Problem Management and Change Management and will have the management skill to coordinate and lead technical teams to achieve complex technical goals, deal with stakeholders; offering advice and consultancy in a variety of situations. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will be a well-rounded technical professional, with experience managing multiple technology disciplines from junior to senior levels; ideally within a mature Shared Service or Commercial IT Services Operation. You will have experience of planning and delivery change projects and hold the ability to drive change and influence others though building strong relationships and having strong commercial awareness. More so; you will have strong ITIL and Prince2 knowledge with practical experience of implementing Cross Functional IT Process Change and will have strong experience working at all levels with a broad range of virtualisation, storage, Cloud and IaaS Technology Platforms.
