Overview
My client is looking for an experienced Bonds manager to join their offices on a full time basis, You will have experience in the following key areas: To control, reconcile and maintain accurate records of all dutiable stocks on site in accordance with both HMRC regulations and business requirements. To provide appropriate advice to management on Excise and Customs Duties, quotas and regulations to minimise costs in complying with HMRC requirements. To provide accurate and meaningful information on stock losses on bulk and finished product, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to resolve problems and to minimise losses. Preparation and submission returns to meet HMRC deadlines. To provide accurate information to the Finance Manager on all duty payments and liabilities. To act as primary point of contact for HMRC for customs and excise matters To provide support to the Finance Manager in HMRC meetings, and audits in respect of customs and excise issues To review existing processes and develop improvement of controls and processes required to comply with operational fiscal authority requirements.
