Customer Service Operator (Spanish and/or French speaking)

Who will I be working for? A lovely family run, local business in the heart of South Oxfordshire who have a busy operations through the summer months requiring additional resource. This business has an international reach and will make a lovely stop gap role or summer role for those seeking summer based work between studies or prior to travelling. Accessible, rural offices will require a car driver or locally based job holder and these roles are contract roles (March to Aug) with 7 days a week shift patterns, attracting a great benefits package, salary and friendly working culture are on offer. What will I be doing? This is a straight customer serve role. You will be the first point of contact as a telephone operative for a bookings service to customers. Customer service staff will need to: - answer emails and respond to messages to assist with these amendments. - some outbound calls are necessary to, for checking and clarifying parts of the service offered. - you may need to not only answer customer calls but also make contact with customers to deal with any amendments of updates on their bookings. What skills and experience are required? Essential Skills and Qualifications: Fluent in both written and spoken English Fluent (both written and spoken) in German, French, Polish, Italian or Spanish Articulate with good grammar Excellent telephone manner Ability to multi-task Good PC skills Ability to prioritise tasks Work on own initiative Confident, professional manner Some experience in a customer service role (not necessarily on the telephone) would be useful but is not essential What else do I need to know? You will be based in rural offices and your own transport is recommended . These roles are contract roles ranging from 3-6 months in duration and depending on starting month (between March and August 2020). These are service based roles and hours are shift patterns between: 0800 to 1900 Monday to Sunday and bank holidays are classed as normal working days. Applicants will be expected to work both Saturday and Sunday every other weekend - so working 2 full weekends out of 4. Weekend shifts are from 0900 to 1730. Hourly Rate - £9.75 to £10.25 (dependent on skills and experience) 25 days holiday - (pro-rata for contract workers) Holidays are restricted during July and August as these are our busiest months.
