Property Manager - Repairs

Providing an efficient 'right first time' repairs and maintenance services to our properties is our key focus. We currently have a great opportunity for a Property Manager to join our Property Services Team in our East Region based currently at our Basingstoke Office. Our Property Team and this role will be moving to a brand new office in Newbury during 2021. Reporting into the Area Property Manager, you'll be working in our responsive repairs team and take full responsibility and accountability for overseeing the day to day delivery of all Property Service activities within your patch, through a team of skilled trades persons. You'll manage, coach and develop up to 8 trades people, ensuring that all maintenance repairs are effectively managed, compliant and undertaken in line with Sovereign's policies. Proven line management experience is therefore essential for this role. Ideally you will have a strong background in the property sector within a property maintenance management type role in order to drive optimisation of the front line. You'll also possess strong communication skills, be delivery focused and have the ability to make decisions and effectively manage complaints. There will be some travel involved with this role so you should be happy to travel, have access to a car and a full UK driving licence.
