This is a unique opportunity for exactly that. My Midlands based client is a rapidly growing, niche food manufacturer who are going through an exceptional period of growth and outside investment. There simply isn’t a better time to join The role will be wonderfully diverse, combining elements of team management whilst still maintaining some hands on work – after all, who wants to be stuck in an office after all those years of perfecting your trade You will be managing a team of multi-skilled engineers (usually around 3), this will involve planning and delegating workloads, writing and maintaining PPM / CMMS, performance management, with the ultimate aim of getting your team working happily, efficiently and effectively With a huge amount of investment currently happening you will also be involved in project work with ongoing improvements and installations happening throughout. There will also be an impetus towards Lean and CI / RCA. As a close knit site, the cultural fit is absolute key, therefore my client is looking for genuine team players who want to be part of the exciting journey that they are currently on Food / FMCG experience is key, as is a proven background in this sector as an Engineering Supervisor / Team Leader with experience of leading multi-disciplined engineering teams.
