The Role Are you a qualified System Engineer with ATA32 experience, keen to develop a career in exciting and innovative projects within aerospace, space & defence domains? At AKKA UK we have incredible growth plans for the next 3 years in the UK are to grow from 200 to 1000 System and Software engineers by 2022. You could be part of the huge growth Through the help of the rest of the AKKA Group and exploring new industry avenues we continue to grow our in-house engineering capability and are looking for systems engineers of all levels, interested in the opportunity to work for a consultancy across multiple sectors. Key Tasks & Accountabilities Manage requirements and requirement attributes in DOORS. Prepare technical reports, presentations and attend regular meetings with all involved parties. Primary customer contact and project lead Internal and external project reporting Responsible for delivery meeting contractual and quality requirements Managing equipment and systems development, through full product life-cycle Defining and reviewing qualification and validation tests Coordinate with systems and equipment suppliers Mentoring the team and support on technical questions Skills & Knowledge Required 7 years Avionics Systems Engineering Experience TRL presentation and preparation V&V (requirements management, writing plans, LTRs) ATA32 experience (Braking and Steering Control Systems) Supplier management experience LG-1 experience (modelling and simulation) Very good English writing and speaking.
