Overview
Senior Support Worker Hays Social Care are currently recruiting for a permanent position within a Telford based Children's residential setting. The role will involve working with young people in a Children's home, supporting them with everyday tasks, promoting independence and helping them transition into adulthood. The candidate for this position must have worked with children in a residential setting and have experience working with children who may present some challenging behaviour. They must also hold or be working towards a level 3 qualification. In this role you will be supporting children who have Emotional Behavioural Disorder (EBD) providing them with day to day support. You will work as part of a team to provide this support, so we are looking for someone with a team player attitude. You will be providing a safe and nurturing environment for the young people and will support and encourage the young people to take part in activities and hobbies. This is a full time position and the salary ranges from £21000 to £24000 based on experience. There are also additional benefits which will be discussed at interview.
