Architectural Technologist role with an Industry Leading Engineering Consultancy. £22,000 - £27,000 benefits Your new company Your new company is an industry-leading Civil and Structural Engineering practice, who are nationwide in scope. This consultancy has a proven track record of providing innovative solutions for their broad customer base as they are a highly adaptable and capable practice. My client operates across a diverse range of sectors which can range from religious & historical to industrial projects, with everything in between. Whilst the majority of projects are based here in the UK, they have successfully utilised their expertise for international clients over their decorated history. They recognise the importance of BIM software and were one of the first proponents and users of Revit software in the UK, a testament to their forward-thinking and industry leading approach. Your new role In your new role you will assist the Edinburgh Design Team and Project Managers with the Architectural aspects of the design and delivery of Commercial and Industrial projects. You will use your comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software to continue to provide clients with innovative, safe and sustainable design solutions which are on time and on budget. As everything is done in-house by this consultancy, you will work as part of a close-knit team who pride themselves on working as a collective unit. You will be required to attend site-visits as the projects demands and get the chance to work directly with external consultants and contractors. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role you will need to be comfortable in working in a tight-knit and supportive team as well being capable of working to strict deadlines. You will need to be a self-motivated and competent Architectural Technologist who has demonstrable professional industry experience. You will need to have a firm grasp of AutoCAD and Revit software and will ideally have knowledge of modular building techniques.
