Intermediate Project Manager

THE ROLE My client seeks an Intermediate Project Manager in the Building Construction industry to join them in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will assist in carrying out the full range of pre contract and post contract services from feasibility through project delivery. They are working on new build, refurbishment, upgrade and so on for a good range of projects including industrial buildings e.g. warehouses, logistics buildings, residential, offices etc. You will need to be working as a project manager with a similar firm of construction consultants currently and be able to deliver projects from inception to completion. THE CLIENT My client is a firm of construction consultants mainly focusing on project management and cost management. They have two UK offices and are planning on opening another in the North East plus they have one office in mainland Europe. THE CANDIDATE You will need to have a BSc or BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Project Management or other construction / built environment subject. You also need to have at least two years or more experience working in another firm of consultants in the construction industry as a project manager. You will ideally have started your diary and be working towards taking the RICS APC or be keen to work towards becoming chartered or already be chartered. Good computer and organisation skills required. You will work closely with a small team but you should be able to run your own projects with help / supervision as needed.
