Are you a Research and Development Engineer looking for your next role? Looking to work somewhere which can offer you freedom and autonomy as well as a dedicated team and top facilities? And do you have experience with fluid power pressure and flow control solutions for the medical and scientific fields? If so, this role might be perfect for you We are looking for an experienced R&D Engineer to work for a fantastic client based in Waterlooville (so, easily commutable from Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton) which specialises in fluid technology. This role would see you researching and designing new products and innovations which would be put to use in the medical and scientific industries; using your skills and knowledge you would be creating prototypes to test Fluid Control capabilities, using various machines and methods (including injection moulding, casting and extrusions.). We are looking for a Research and Development Engineer who can manage projects, on time and within budget, with good communication skills and IT abilities. Experience with FEA packages, 3D CAD or SolidWorks would be advantageous. Experience with fluid and pneumatic controls is essential, and a degree in Mechanical Design or similar very important. This role is Temp-to-Perm role, meaning you would begin as a contractor (on either PAYE or Ltd) with the aim to move to permanent after several months. This means there is real scope for progression, with great benefits and enviable pension after going permanent.
