Stores Controller

OUTLINE Exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Controller to join a busy manufacturer in the Wolverhampton area. The role is there for someone to put ensure the high levels of service and quality of the product for the customer. THE JOB ROLE Receive and check all incoming purchases as ordered for quantity and quality. Book in all received stock Ensure all paperwork is accurate and processed in a timely manner Organise and maintain stock levels Logging all stock movements Replenishing assembly lines and production areas with materials required Carry out weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual stock-takes, in line with company policy Liaise with the purchasing department to replenish stock etc Ensure goods are stored in a safe and accurate manner, rotating where necessary General stores duties including and maintaining of a clean tidy and safe work area to the 5S standards Person Specification Methodical in approach Great Organiser People person Team player Be able to work in isolation and as part of a team
