As Credit Control / Sales Ledger Manager, you will manage the company's sales ledger team and oversee the credit control function of a £100m turnover business. Responsibilities: Managing key accounts across the company; providing additional data and reporting on a monthly basis Providing analysis on new clients, reading company accounts and interpreting them to provide opinion on credit levels Meeting key clients, understanding commercial terms and conditions and liaising with key operational staff Improving departmental processes and procedures e.g. invoicing, timesheet management, follow ups and query management Ensuring accounting software is used to full potential Running debtor reports and chasing clients for overdue / late payments via telephone Controlling and monitoring client accounts; liaising with operational managers as appropriate Requirements: Strong people management skills and proven ability of managing a successful accounts team PC literate with an excellent standard of IT skills (Word, Excel, databases etc.) A strong commercial awareness and high level of business acumen A full UK driving licence Working for Acorn, you will receive great training and development, excellent company benefits & incentives and a fun, friendly and rewarding working environment.
