Job Title: Azure Delivery Engineer Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 DOE Our client, a leading IT solutions company, are looking for a talented Azure Delivery Engineer to join their vibrant and growing IT Consultancy. They have seen significant growth in the last 10 years, specialising in working with clients across sectors such as financial services, retail, healthcare and local government; with a large number of FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients. About the business They are a growing software consultancy who partner with world class technology providers. Their headquarters are in Leeds, but they have other bases in Glasgow, the West Midlands and London. The Role Playing a key role in our delivery team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting a range of Azure solutions for our customers. This job requires travel to client sites and other company offices. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: - Automated provisioning of infrastructure using ARM templates - Versioning and testing of ARM templates - Build and deploysolutions encompassing technology, process and people for: - Build and release management - Infrastructure - Networking - Identity and Security - Implement solutions. Be totally hands-on and able work independently, displaying initiative and judgement - Ensure delivery of exceptional technical solutions, in line with project and design requirements - Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging processes, techniques,tools and services - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner - Work closely with architecture and development teams to ensure that solutions are deployed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind Knowledge and Experience The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience across the following: Essential - Strong understanding of core Azure infrastructure and services - Strong networking experience - Working with Windows Server plus associated services (DNS/DHCP, Active Directory, etc) - Experience of migrating on premise infrastructure to Azure - Azure Administrator certification - PowerShell scripting - Designing and documenting operational guides and support processes - Ability to work effectively in a distributed team - Previous experience working in either a System Administration or 3rd line support capacity Desirable - Experience working in a DevOps environment - Familiarity with software automationtools - Azure DevOps, Azure Automation/Runbooks - Working with Linux - Azure Architect certification - Ability to present confidently in external group and client settings If you have the right experience, a passion for cloud infrastructure and want to take your career to the next level, using leading cloud technologies, we would love to hear from you.
