Cloud Accounts Senior / Cloud Accountant - SUPERB ROLE McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with aTop80 Accounting Firm who are continuing to enjoy very strong growth within the London & East London business markets. They are now seeking a "Cloud Accounting" Qualified Accountant who will be responsible for expanding their Cloud Services as more customers use Xero, ensuring management accounts are delivered more efficiently than ever before. This role will ensure that all customers get access to this new & ground breaking service and you will be responsible for the transition to the new software along with managing your own client portfolio. Responsibilities include: Transferring clients onto Xero Accounts (or similar) from existing IT packages or manual records Providing training to clients, predominately on Xero, but may be required to provide training on other IT software as required Providing ongoing IT and accounting support through the implementation period and beyond. Reviewing client procedures around finance to ensure strong and relevant controls. Assisting clients with cashflows and budgets if required Producing management accounts for clients and presenting to Manager/Partner with minimal queries. May be required to carry out Bookkeeping/accounting for clients in the office and off-site. Producing statutory accounts for clients, providing clear review points and putting through adjustments on Caseware. Keeping time records up to date on a day-to-day basis and completing timesheets on CCH. Liaising with the Tax Department and dealing with any queries raised. Keeping technically up to date. Cross selling other services to clients which may contribute to incremental fee income for the Firm Any other tasks as reasonably required to ensure the smooth running of the assignment and the department To be considered for the role you should have Accountancy practice experience producing management accounts, KPIs and cash flow forecasts. You should be able to use Xero extensively along with other packages such as Sage & QuickBooks; and Caseware experience would be an advantage. With first-class communication skills and capable of liaising and forming relationships with clients, a high level of accuracy, being deadline focussed and the ability to work on your own initiative is also crucial. You should ideally be a Qualified Accountant or Qualified By Experience and on offer is a base salary to £50,000 along with life assurance & income protection schemes, pension and holidays.
