Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a unique opportunity with a leading firm of accountants in Winchester who are seeking a Private Client Tax Senior/ Assistant Manager to join their team. The successful individual will manage a portfolio of private clients and be their first point of contact principally related to areas such as Income tax and Capital Gains along with Property tax, Trusts & Estates, Inheritance issues, Non-domicile and Expatriate tax. The ideal candidate will be ATT Qualified or CTA Qualified/ part qualified with strong technical skills and ideally have experience of managing their own portfolio of private clients. The role involves supporting the Partners in more complex advisory work, working on ad hoc projects, the provision of tax planning advice and regular client liaison. The role can be seen in more detail below: Duties & Responsibilities: Managing a diverse portfolio of clients Clients include Directors, Sole Traders, Trusts, HNWIs and non-domiciled individuals Identifying tax planning opportunities Preparation and review of Personal Tax returns Assisting the Partner(s) with consulting and advisory work Reviewing the work of junior staff members Liaising with HMRC Dealing with client queries Requirements: ATT Qualified / CTA Part Qualified/ Qualified Strong Personal/ Private client tax experience within a practice environment Strong communication skills To find out more on this role, please contact Ed Taylor at Taylor Rose Recruitment
