Overview
Reed Accountancy are currently working with a growing organisation in Tamworth to recruit a permanent Accountant . The role will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be a stand alone position for the finance function. Duties include: Print Statements Update cash book Post entries Reconcile CB - N/L Collate data Rec'd -invoices/Statements Post cash payments Invoices -PO - Receive / match GRN Invoices -PO - Import to SAGE Invoices -code/post Reconcile Supplier statements Supplier payment run - UK Supplier payment run - Foreign Invoices -PO - Import to SAGE Post cash receipts Close M/E & send statements Authorise new credit accounts Manual invoices Proforma invoices Credit accounts EC Sales report VAT return Issue employee FM reports Attend sales / Production meetings Bank cheques STOCK adjustments Fuel & Utility reports This role will ideally suit someone that is AAT Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA. The role could progress into a finance manager role. The company use Sage 50 so experience would be preferable.
