Overview
ROLE- Junior Engineer LOCATION- West Oxfordshire TERM- Permanent SALARY- £18,000 - £21,000 per annum My client design and manufactures a range of mechanical equipment, and they are looking to take on a Junior Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Oxfordshire area. The Junior Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: BTEC/ HNC/ HND/ NVQ/ Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Production or similar Previous hands on experience of working in an engineering environment would be beneficial CAD skills (i.e SolidWorks, Solid Edge) Be computer literate – able to work with MS Office Be able to pay close attention to detail Have the desire to work and develop with a company long term Good problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team The Junior Engineer role will involve: Working alongside the existing Engineering team Providing support on design, testing, manufacturing and certification Working both in the office and in the test lab too Assisting with general engineering activities Creating 3D CAD models and 2D drawings too Producing the required BOM’s Being trained on the procedures for testing, recording and then presenting facts on the components and products Creating product manuals and user instructions If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
