Overview
Optical Assistant - Bournemouth, Dorset and surrounding areas My Client, an Optical Domiciliary Company, is looking to recruit a full time experienced Optical Assistant. This is a Monday to Friday role, the position will involve visiting Nursing and Care Homes within Bournemouth and surrounding areas working closely with the optometrist You must possess excellent dispensing skills at all levels and have a sympathetic approach and empathy as most patients are elderly and infirm and some suffer from dementia. You will be assisting the Optometrist and also carry out fittings and aftercare when required. It is important you are a confident driver as you will be out on the road and a car owner. In return you will receive a very competitive salary plus bonus and a car allowance; petrol expenses will be covered.
