Overview
Cyber Security Officer required on a permanent basis for leading not-for-profit organisation based in Nottinghamshire. This person will work alongside the Head of IT to deliver a series of key security projects and become the face of security for the organisation. Role: Cyber Security Officer Location: Nottinghamshire Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 Great benefits package Sector: NPO The essential skills for this role are as follows: Exposure to configuring firewalls and antivirus software including inbound email malware/spam solutions Penetration testing Managing a 3rd party vendor Providing assurance to the business and senior management on all security related issues Monitoring vulnerabilities day to day The variety of project that you will have sole ownership of is as follows: Continue deployment and baselining of SOC/SIEM solution Helping to interpret information to improve the service Deploying increased infrastructure to strengthen the wider IT landscape AV not been looked at for a while - there is a project to review the AV equipment New round of penetration testing, looking at risks Internal vulnerability scanning - pen testing own network Replacement of current on premises security solutions with cloud alternative If this role is of interest, please get in touch with an up-to-date CV for review.
