Youth Support Worker (Complex Needs) £20,091 - £23,000 per annum (dependent on training and experience) plus £33.00 per sleep-in (for waking night posts) Various shifts available for residential day and/or waking nights plus overtime opportunities Based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire At Homes2Inspire, we are passionate about what we do. Our new home in Mansfield will be designed specifically to support children and young people with moderate learning and physical disabilities. The children and young people may also display behaviour that challenges. Homes2inspire support the delivery of specifically designed, child-centred professional care services which clearly address the needs of each of our children and young people, and therefore, it is desirable for candidates to be able to communicate in British Sign Language. The Right Candidate You will play an imperative role in the home, building positive relationships with the children and young people, ensuring a safe and secure home environment. We are looking for individuals who: Are able to communicate in BSL. Have the passion and drive to improve the lives of children. Desire and are willing to learn and develop new skills. Are resilient and able to support our children and young people in their most difficult times. Are a great role model. A full UK Driving Licence is preferred to support with school runs and activities. Previous experience within this field would be advantageous, however this is not essential. We welcome applicants that we feel have the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people. Please note successful applicants with a QCF Level 3 will enter the business at a higher salary. No QCF Level 3? No Problem Homes2Inspire will cover the cost of QCF training for all of our current employees. Career progression is also a guarantee for the right candidate.
