Overview

Social Worker - Learning Disabilities/Hospital - Leicestershire - £32 per hour We are looking for an experienced social worker to work in a learning disabilities / hospital service in Leicestershire. As an learning disabilities social worker, you will manage your own workload; you will undertake assessments for clients with learning disabilities, assessing the client's needs, risks and capacity and respond appropriately to support the service users. As an experienced social worker, you will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely discharges from hospital. Benefits as a Adults Social Worker: Flexible working Supportive management team committed to specific training Duties as a Adults Social Worker: Act as an appropriate adult for service users with mental health issues Write social circumstance reports and attend tribunals Attend court hearings on behalf of client and progress cases in court of protection Progress cases in court of protection Carry out assessments and reviews in the community to assess service users' needs Carry out and implement care packages and support plans to completion Attend CPA reviews Manage complex case load To promote and maintain independence for vulnerable adults To protect adults at risk using procedures to safeguard adults from abuse With the adult and carer, formulate and implement personal budgets and support plans Assist and participate in the management of the duty service and carry out screening of clients to determine criteria to be supported by the service Essential Requirements: Social Work England registration Eligible to work in the UK Hold a full UK licence Post-qualified experience Why Liquid Personnel?
