Registered Home Manager | Trowbridge | £60k Benefits: • A basic salary of up to £60K • Pension • Excellent career progression • Company benefits scheme What the company is looking for: • An experienced Home Manager that is looking to take on a challenge in a large home • Experience in managing an elderly/dementia care home • Someone that can work under pressure and be able to build relationships well • Experience in managing large multidisciplinary staff teams • Previously managed services achieving a good CQC rating This is a large sized care home and caters for elderly and frail residents with a varied dependency, from rehabilitation to end of life care. This care home is considered to be one of my clients Flag ship` sites, it offers residential care for the elderly. The home is tastefully and modern decorated throughout, and provides an abundance of support services for residents living with dementia or other complex issues. There is also an on-site caf, shop, and hair salon plus beautifully landscaped gardens that provides a tranquil space for the residents. As Home Manager, you will draw upon your existing expertise and leadership skills. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and care excellence. As the Home Manager, you will have a sound working knowledge of CQC standards and have proven experience managing a Residential home. Main Duties: • To manage the day to day running of the home and staff team ensuring the highest level of care standards are upheld. • Build and maintain occupancy levels within the service • To support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met. • To support the personal development of each service user, ensuring that they are treated as an individual with their own unique support needs. • To ensure that the dignity and individuality of each service user is respected and that they are able to exercise choice in all areas of their life. • To work in accordance with the companies vision statement, policies and procedures, and all relevant legalisation The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications: • Proven Care Home Management experience within a large service • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill • Experience in working with elderly service users • NVQ Level 5 or equivalent • Proven track record of successful home management • Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards • Dynamic & Enthusiastic For more information on how to become part of this ever expanding organisation and to apply for this fantastic opportunity please contact Charlotte at Amber Mace on 01904 571187 on or email a copy of your up to date CV for immediate attention to charlotteambermace.com Must have Registered Management experience
