Overview
Data Protection and Privacy Lawyer Due to expansion, a super-charged, commercially minded Data Protection and Privacy Lawyer is wanted for a challenging and rewarding Leeds based opportunity with a highly regarded, forward thinking law firm. Applications are invited from Data Protection and Privacy Lawyers with upwards of 4 years experience looking to progress their careers in an expanding law firm offering plenty of opportunity to progress. Salary is negotiable and upwards of £36,000 with a comprehensive benefits package including 25 days holiday. The successful Data Protection and Privacy Lawyer will join a busy team managing a challenging and rewarding caseload of contentious and non-contentious Data Protection, Privacy and GDPR matters on behalf of a national client base to include business and public sector. Office and field based, day to day duties will include providing clients with updates information management law and security; acting for clients on allegations of unlawful GDPR and DPA breaches; managing investigations and responding to ICO enforcement actions; managing client's Data Subject Access Requests; the drafting and roll out of data protection and other information law documents; management of Freedom of Information requests; managing information system breaches, data loss and cyber attacks. In summary, a varied and challenging cross sector opportunity.
