Overview
Senior Data Engineer / Cloud / AWS / Python Bristol and/or Stroud £60,000 This is a stand-out opportunity to join a successful, ethical and forward-thinking business where you will be responsible for the design and development a new cloud solution in AWS using Python along with a host of other modern technologies. Sitting between the Software and Data teams, you will work with complex and interesting data sources to form data pipelines ready to be moved from on-prem to the cloud. This transformation will then make way for data to be optimised through Machine Learning, all of which will be within the remit of the Data Engineer. As this is a completely new programme for the business, there will be no legacy code involved and you can start to organise and optimise with the end goal of engineering a data pipeline to make data securely available to everyone within the business. This role would be ideal for a Senior Developer / Software Engineer with experience of Python and an interest in Data and cloud-based technology with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
